Azealia Banks shaves her head bald to ‘feel fresh again’ after ‘years of trauma and drama’

Hot-tempered hip-hop star Azealia Banks publicly shaved off her natural, bob-length locks on Saturday night in order to ‘feel fresh again’ after ‘years of trauma and drama.’

The Harlem-born 29-year-old admitted she mostly ‘wears wigs anyway’ and said via Instastory: ‘I’m just going to be bald under these wigs until the end of coronavirus.’

‘I gotta get real drunk first. I’m going to drink me some wine and get real drunk and just shave it off and just do it,’ Azealia announced to her 3.6M social media following.

‘Look, I’m really just trying to simplify my life right now and just feel beautiful you know? I like my [acrylic] nails and I can’t braid my hair with these nails. And the way these coronavirus f***ing cases are going around I’m very scared to have somebody come braid or take care of my natural hair and do my hair.’

Banks continued: ‘All this stress energy and break-up energy…I’m about to have my Britney Spears moment. I feel like Britney, b**** on some 2007 s***, I’m gonna shave my head b****, just to feel fresh again.’

The Black Madonna rapper-singer ‘got courage’ for her extreme makeover by watching R&B rival Beyoncé’s visual album Black Is King, which started streaming Friday on Disney+.

‘Yes, Bianca give me the courage! Give me the courage, girl, because I’m about to shave my head, b****!’ Azealia – who also has braces – exclaimed.
