Reserve hooker Corey Flynn has revealed that the All Blacks will be attacking the Wallaby scrum set-piece with plenty of intent on Saturday.
Etihad Stadium is set to host the first Bledisloe Cup clash of the year this weekend, between two nations that are unbeaten in Tri-Nations 2010.
And despite Australia having been boosted by the return of Stephen Moore from bench duty to the two jersey alongside a fully fit Benn Robinson, the Canterbury hooker admits they are looking put some demons into the minds of Australia.
"We will have to be on our toes, but equally we're not doing too bad ourselves so if we can get into [the forwards] it will put some demons in their heads," he told rugbyheaven.com.au.
''They're a fast physical pack. It probably won't be as physical [as the Boks] from a defensive side but it will be a lot faster. The aerobic situation will be right up there. They're two different packs, South Africa and Australia, and they are definitely by no means to be taken lightly.''
However Flynn, who was recently called back into the squad ahead of Aled de Malmanche, said that they will concentrate more on their own game than the hosting Australia.
''We'll tweak a few things but the biggest thing is that we concentrate on us if we get that right,'' he said, before praising Australia for their win over South Africa.
''We know we've got a pretty good game plan to take these guys apart, so it's just about us getting in and doing it.'
''I thought they went pretty well. They adopted a few things of what we wanted to do against the Boks and that was just to be physical. If you do that against them, that takes a lot of their game away. It puts them under a fair bit of pressure and they did that really well, their scrum fronted, their lineout did okay so it will be a good match this weekend.
''They had the luxury of watching us do it to [the Springboks] two weeks in a row. [Wallaby coach Robbie] Deans is a pretty smart man and he would have looked at that and known that was the way forward.''
