Tani Fuga's team announced

The season may not officially start until the 4th of September, but for Quins the action really starts on Friday 6th August, when they will return to the Stoop for the first of two pre-season friendlies.

The first is against the Southern Hemisphere All Star XV which has been put together by Tani Fuga as part of his Testimonial and includes a host of big names.
It will a chance for the players not only to see if all the hard pre-season training has paid off, but also to prove to new Director of Rugby, Conor O'Shea, that they deserve a place in his team this season.

"My team is made up of mainly Islanders, of course with the exception of a few Quins favourites. It is a very close-knit community and we all support each other over here, so I am delighted that these great friends and players will be joining me in a few weeks time to take part in this match against Quins.

"Hopefully we will put out a strong side that will give Quins a run for their money!"

With the likes of Ospreys' Jerry Collins and Toulouse's Census Johnston, there is no doubt that Quins will have to be at their very best when they come up against these world-class players.

There will be a handful former Quins favourites returning to the Stoop as well to play in Tani's side, including Andy Gomarsall, Simon Keogh, Simon Miall and Neil McMillan.

Harlequins V Southern Hemisphere All Star XV, Friday 6th August. The Stoop. Kick off 7.30pm.
